If you are a current Java user you must upgrade due to serious security vulnerabilities in the current and previous versions by downloading the new version of Java from their website at java.com.  Select the “Free Java Download” button and it will give you the upgrade for your system. It should say Java Version 7 Update 51.  When installing uncheck the selection for “Install Ask Toolbar and Google Chrome”.

If you are a current Banner or Argos User on Windows please follow the additional steps below.
1. Open the Java Control Panel by going to the Windows Icon in the bottom left of your screen,

2. select “All Programs”,

3. Choose Java,

4. Select Configure Java

5. Click on Security tab and then

6. select “Edit Site List”

a.      Add the address for Banner (http://inb.isu.edu:9001)

b.     and Argos (https://aim.isos.isu.edu/argos/)  Then hit OK.

You should now be able to close your browser and then go back into your browser and try accessing Banner or Argos.
