The job description is below:
Job will include desktop support tasks such as virus/malware removal, software installation and setup. Ability to install operating systems (Windows, Linux and Mac) on new and existing systems, as well as identify and install required device drivers is desired. The ability to create and distribute disk images using Norton Ghost and Clonezilla will also be desired from employees. The ability to install and configure printers and other peripheral devices will also be desired. Employees will be expected to be able to troubleshoot computers, printers, phones, tablets and other electronic devices. Other helpful skills would include familiarity with an issue tracking (ticket) system, documentation skills, and customer service skills.
This job may also include installing and testing server applications using Linux, mainly Ubuntu, operating systems. This would require a working knowledge of the Linux operating system as well as beginning command line skills.
