SHARP MX-M266N (Math Faculty Lounge Printer)

2. Select MX-M266N for the "Product" and click "Search".

3. Expand the "Drivers and Utilities" tab on the bottom of the page.

4. Download the Windows 64 bit OS Driver Package that includes the Universal Driver (The exact one detailed in the picture below).

5. Open up the file that was just downloaded. Then open up the last file in the explorer (the one that is highlighted in the photo).

6. Once the highlighted folder has been opened, extract using the tool on the top at the explorer. Accept the default extraction location or use your own. If you are using 7-Zip you may need to right click the file, hover over 7-Zip and click "Extract files..."

7. Launch the highlighted application from the extracted files. It is titled: "setup"

8. Click "I accept the agreement" and click Next.

9. Click "Basic mode" and click Next.

10. Select "Specify the MFP IP address" and click next.

11. Enter in the following IP address or hostname:


Click Next.

12. Name the printer "Math Library" for easy use.  Click Next.

13. Don't change any settings here. Click Next.

14. Wait for the installation to finish. 

15. If you would like to you can set this as your default printer here. Otherwise click on the drop down menu and change it. If you would like to you can print a test page. Click Finish

17. Done! Your computer should be connected and able to print from the chosen printer. You can double check this by looking in the "Add printers & scanners" tab of settings. The installed printer should be there.
